Gouvia bay is situated just 9 kilometers Northwestern of Corfu Town and Corfu national airport, in front of the homonymous popular tourist resort. Gouvia is a well-organized beach and offers facilities for swimming, sunbathing and many water sports. However, the resort looks a liittle secluded even if it is close to the capital of the island (corfu town).
Gouvia during venetian rule used to be a strong naval base and for this reason today it is home to Corfu's main marina. Many rich and famous boat owner keep their boats there. Visitors will also observe some luxury houses and yachts there.

Dassia : Dassia beach is located on a distance of 10 kilometeres from Corfu Town at the south-east part of the island. The beach is situated along a pretty stretch of land and has everything to offer to visitors of all ages. Dassia beach can be reached by various side roads leading off from the main road that runs through the resort.
Paleokastritsa: Paleokastritsa is situated 16 miles north-west of Corfu's attractive capital, Corfu Town. The resort runs along the coast road that winds among the cliffs and sheltered bays.It is a hilly place full of twists and turns and unexpected views.
Corfu Town: Corfu Town is the islands largest urban centre and administrative capital, commercial hub and home to nearly all the cultural sites. Its permanent population is about 40,000 a number that is more than doubled in summer days by the incoming holidaymakers and hordes of day-trippers from the resort, making it truly not a place for peace and quiet.
Ipsos: Ipsos North of Corfu Town is a string of busy beach resorts, each one merging into the next. This resort can get pretty wild at the height of the summer, and the beach for many is just a place to recuperate the next day
