Canal d’Amour is famous throughout Greece, but few visitors experience it during the early morning hours. At sunrise, the unique sandstone formations glow in soft golden light while the sea remains calm and peaceful.
Local legend claims that couples who swim through the canal together will stay together forever. Whether you believe the legend or not, the setting is undeniably romantic and offers a much quieter experience than visiting later in the day.
Best time to visit: Sunrise from May to October.
