Atmosphere/type: Long sandy beach with a relaxed village feel and dramatic cliffs at each end. Water: Generally clean with a gentle slope, though waves pick up when the west wind blows. Why choose it: Great all-day beach-swim, lunch, swim again. From Corfu Town: ~18 km, ~35 min. Tip: For calmer water, go in the morning before the afternoon breeze.
