๐ฑ Useful Tips in an Emergency
โข Save 112 in your phone before travelling. It is the most useful all-purpose emergency number in Greece.
โข If calling from an international mobile number, local Corfu telephone numbers should normally be dialled with the Greek country code +30.
โข If you need medical assistance but do not know your exact location, give the emergency operator the name of your hotel, beach, village or nearby landmark and share your phone location if possible.
โข On remote beaches or mountain roads, phone reception may sometimes be weaker. Make sure your phone is charged before leaving for the day.
โข For emergencies at sea, call 108 or 112.
โข During wildfires, severe weather or other major emergencies, follow instructions received through Greece’s 112 emergency alert system.
