Many tourist restaurants now serve giant desserts covered in chocolate, ice cream, syrup, whipped cream, and cookies mainly for Instagram photos. While they may look impressive, they are often expensive, very sugary, and far from traditional Greek desserts.
Better option: Try homemade Yogurt Barks: Spread Greek yogurt on a baking sheet, top with fruit and nuts, and freeze before breaking into pieces or local spoon sweets.
