What Is This Thing They Call Love

A special open air performance will take place on Friday August 28 2026 at the Rena Vlachopoulou Theatre in Mon Repos as part of the August Full Moon celebrations

The show begins at 9:30 PM and admission is free

The performance features Vasiliki Karagianni and Theodoros Nikolaou who will present a collection of beloved romantic songs from the 20th century

The programme brings together classic melodies by well known Greek composers and singers combining nostalgia with songs that continue to touch audiences today

Pianist Spyros Souladakis will accompany the performance while Petros Gallias will recite romantic poetry by four important Greek poets of the era Myrtiotissa Melissanthi Maria Polydouri and Napoleon Lapathiotis

An evening dedicated to love music and poetry under the August moon.
