Sacré Vocal Music Events 2026 Corfu

The Sacré Vocal Music Events return to Corfu this autumn with four concerts celebrating the traditions of Western and Eastern sacred vocal music.

From 26 September to 4 November 2026, acclaimed vocal ensembles and musicians will perform at two atmospheric venues in Corfu Town: the Church of St. George in the Old Fortress and the Catholic Cathedral (Duomo).

26 September – VOCES8
One of the world’s most celebrated vocal ensembles performs in Corfu.

27 September – renEssence
An evening dedicated to sacred vocal music.

7 October – A Filetta
The renowned Corsican ensemble brings its distinctive polyphonic sound to Corfu.

4 November – Ionian Chamber Ensemble
Featuring countertenor Will Prior, conducted by Nikos Tsouchlos.

The programme is organized by the Choral Education, Practice and Research Project of the Department of Music Studies, Ionian University, under Scientific Director Miranda Kaldi.
