Corfu Town is beautiful to explore, but there are moments when a visitor needs something much more practical: a cool indoor place to work, reliable Wi-Fi, somewhere safe to leave luggage after hotel checkout, or a self-service laundry before the next part of a journey. This guide brings those useful services together in one place.
If your flight or ferry leaves later in the day, you do not need to spend hours carrying suitcases through the Old Town. Corfu now has several automated luggage-storage points, a proper coworking space near San Rocco, public Wi-Fi areas, cafés where you can sit indoors, and self-service laundries within walking distance of the centre.
Quick Guide: What Do You Need?
Need a proper place to work? Go to SiLICON Urban Ecosystem near San Rocco Square. It is the best option for a full work session, with fast Wi-Fi, desks, power outlets, meeting rooms and air-conditioning.
Need Wi-Fi and a coffee? Try Starbucks Corfu in the centre, Cafetierra or Kumquat. Near the port, Sette Venti is convenient while waiting for a ferry.
Need free public Wi-Fi? Look for the Wifi4EU network around San Rocco, Spianada, Town Hall Square, Agios Spyridon and other central parts of Corfu Town. Free Wi-Fi is also available in the Corfu Port passenger area.
Need to leave your luggage for a few hours? Central 24/7 options include Yellow Lockers, Lock & Roll, Easy Lockers, Flexy Luggage Storage and several other locations in the Old Town, San Rocco and the port area.
Arriving or leaving by ferry? The most convenient luggage options are the lockers around Corfu New Port, including Yellow Lockers and Lock & Roll. Sette Venti is also nearby for coffee, food and Wi-Fi.
Need to wash clothes? Try Ta Skoutia, Myrise Sapouni or Corfu Laundromat San Rocco – Mastelo. Ta Skoutia is especially convenient because luggage lockers and self-service laundry are available at the same location.
Have several hours between hotel check-out and your flight? Store your luggage first, use a laundry if necessary, then spend the rest of your time in Corfu Old Town, at an air-conditioned café or working from SiLICON before heading to the airport.
Last checked: September 2026. Opening hours and services can change, especially outside the main summer season, so it is always worth checking the individual business before travelling.

Where to Work, Cool Down and Get Online in Corfu Town
SiLICON Urban Ecosystem – Coworking Near San Rocco
If you genuinely need to work rather than simply answer a few emails over coffee, SiLICON Urban Ecosystem is the strongest option in central Corfu. It is a dedicated coworking environment at Donatou Dimoulitsa 19–21, only a short walk from San Rocco Square.
Internet: The coworking space advertises Wi-Fi speeds of up to 250 Mbps.
Hot desk prices: Half day €10 • Full day €15.
Meeting rooms: From €20 per hour.
Opening hours: Monday–Friday 09:00–21:00 • Saturday 09:00–15:00. Sunday is not listed as a regular opening day.
Facilities: Hot desks, meeting rooms, private offices, training rooms and phone-booth facilities. Recent visitor feedback published by SiLICON also mentions efficient air-conditioning, plenty of power outlets and a comfortable environment for remote work.

Porto Bello – Air-Conditioned Indoor Café Near Corfu Port
Porto Bello is particularly useful for ferry passengers because it is close to the harbour entrance. The café’s official website specifically states that its indoor area is air-conditioned, making it a useful option on very hot days when you want to sit down for coffee, breakfast or food before travelling.
Opening hours: Monday–Sunday 10:00–00:00.

Cafetierra – Cool Indoor Specialty Coffee Stop
Cafetierra, on Kapodistriou Street, is a small specialty-coffee option close to the historic centre. Recent visitor reviews specifically mention a cool indoor space with air-conditioning, which can make it useful during the hottest part of the day.
Opening hours currently listed: Monday–Friday 08:00–18:00 • Saturday–Sunday 08:00–16:00.
Kumquat – Air-Conditioned Brunch & Coffee
Kumquat, at Spyrou Samara 3, is another central option where recent visitors specifically mention a cool air-conditioned interior. It is more of a brunch and specialty-coffee café than a coworking space, so it is better for a shorter laptop session rather than occupying a table for a full working day.
Opening hours currently listed: Monday–Saturday 08:00–17:00 • Sunday 08:00–16:00.
Starbucks Corfu – Wi-Fi-Friendly Central Option
The Starbucks on Kapodistriou 32 is a familiar option for travellers who mainly need Wi-Fi, indoor seating and somewhere to use a laptop for a while. It is not a dedicated coworking space, so long working sessions are better suited to SiLICON.
Opening hours: Daily 07:30–22:30.
Free Wi-Fi Areas in Corfu Town
Corfu also has public Wi-Fi hotspots. The Municipality has listed the WiFi4EU network in several central locations. When available, look for the network name Wifi4EU on your phone or laptop.
• San Rocco Square
• Municipal Theatre area
• Eugeniou Voulgareos, from the Municipal Theatre towards Annunziata
• San Giacomo / Town Hall Square
• Lemonia Square
• Plakado Agiou Spyridonos
• Lower Spianada Square
• Upper Spianada Square
• Karvouniaris area
Public hotspot availability can occasionally vary, so do not rely on it for an important video call or urgent work session.
Wi-Fi at Corfu Port
The Corfu Port passenger facilities list free Wi-Fi among the services available to travellers, together with information facilities and passenger waiting areas. This can be particularly useful if you are waiting for a ferry or cruise transfer.
Sette Venti Cafe Bar – Corfu Port
Sette Venti is directly in the New Port area and is one of the most obvious places to sit while waiting for a ferry. It serves coffee, snacks and food, and current listings include Wi-Fi among its facilities.
Opening hours currently listed: It generally opens at 07:00 and closes around midnight, with closing as late as 02:00 on some days. Because the schedule varies by day, check the current listing before relying on a late-night closing time.
Important: I would list Sette Venti as a useful port Wi-Fi and waiting stop, rather than promise strong air-conditioning. Recent visitor feedback is mixed on how effective the cooling is inside.

Corfu Port Passenger-Terminal Luggage Storage
A luggage-storage facility is also listed at Ethnikis Antistaseos 12 in the Corfu Port area.
Current listed hours: Generally around 08:00–22:00, with the Wednesday listing beginning at 09:00. Because port-service hours can change, verify them on the day of travel.
Self-Service Laundry in Corfu Town
Yes, self-service laundries fit this page very well. The same traveller who needs luggage storage after check-out may also want to wash and dry clothes before a late flight, ferry journey or onward trip.
Ta Skoutia – Self-Service Laundry & Luggage Lockers
Address: Polychroniou Konstanta 16.
Wash time: The business states that washing can take from about 23–25 minutes, with drying commonly around 30 minutes.
Opening-hours note: The business homepage currently advertises 24/7 service, while its FAQ states 09:00–21:00 with the last load at 20:30. Because those two official pages conflict, check the current hours before making a special trip.

Opening hours: Monday–Saturday 08:30–22:00 • Sunday 09:00–19:00.
This is another practical self-service option for anyone staying in or passing through central Corfu Town.
A Useful Plan Between Hotel Check-Out and a Late Flight
If you have several hours to fill after checking out of your accommodation, a simple plan works surprisingly well. Leave your luggage at one of the central storage points, use a self-service laundry if needed, then spend the remaining time in the Old Town, at an air-conditioned café or working from SiLICON. When it is time to leave, Blue Bus Line 15 connects the town with both Corfu Port and Corfu Airport.
If you are travelling with expensive electronics, passports or other valuables, always check the individual storage provider’s terms, insurance conditions and prohibited-items policy before leaving them in a locker.
Useful Final Tip
Opening hours, Wi-Fi availability and access arrangements can change. I recommend checking the official website or current Google Maps listing on the same day, particularly if you plan to arrive very early, collect luggage late at night or depend on a café for an important online meeting.
