Summer may get most of the attention, but September and October can be two of the best months to experience Greece. The crowds begin to thin, temperatures become more comfortable, and many destinations reveal a completely different side once the peak summer rush is over.
There is another reason, however, why more experienced travelers are looking beyond July and August — and it may completely change the way you think about when to visit Greece.
9Finding Accommodation Can Become Easier
Trying to find the right hotel or apartment in a popular Greek destination during peak summer can sometimes be frustrating, particularly when booking late.

October can offer even greater flexibility, although travelers should remember that in strongly seasonal resorts some hotels and tourist businesses begin closing toward the end of the season.
