This is an important correction to a widely repeated online claim.
If you completed online check-in but your phone is lost or its battery dies, Ryanair says airport staff will provide a boarding pass free of charge. Passengers who have checked in can also access their digital pass offline through the application.
The major fee normally applies when a passenger failed to complete online check-in before the deadline—not simply because the phone battery died.
