2Leaving Without Taking a Video of the Car
Before you drive away, use your phone to record a complete video of the rental car.
Walk slowly around the vehicle and record every side, including the front and rear bumpers, doors, mirrors, windscreen, wheels and tyres. Take additional photos of any existing scratches, dents or other damage.
It is also useful to record the dashboard showing the fuel level and mileage.
This only takes a couple of minutes and can help avoid misunderstandings when you return the vehicle.
