3Carry Water, a Hat, a Small Fan and Mosquito Repellent
Always carry drinking water, sunscreen and a hat when leaving your accommodation.
A small rechargeable handheld fan can be surprisingly useful while waiting for a bus, walking around Corfu Town or sitting in a restaurant without strong air conditioning.
Mosquito repellent is also important, particularly during the evening and when staying near gardens, lakes, wetlands or areas with dense vegetation.
Children, older travelers and people with health conditions need additional protection from heat and dehydration.
