If Money Was No Object: The Projects We’d Build in Corfu

Finally, we would create an extensive network of dedicated coastal cycling and walking routes connecting beaches, villages and viewpoints around Corfu.

One of the first sections could run around Arillas and the north-west coast, where beaches, olive groves, cliffs and spectacular sea views provide an ideal environment for walking and cycling.

Wherever possible, the routes would be physically separated from road traffic and would include viewpoints, shaded rest areas, drinking-water stations, bicycle parking and connections with nearby villages.

The long-term dream would be to create a much larger island-wide network allowing both visitors and local residents to explore significant parts of Corfu safely without needing a car.
