12Scenic Cable Car to Mount Pantokrator
At 906 metres, Mount Pantokrator is the highest mountain in Corfu and offers some extraordinary views across the island and surrounding coastline.
Our imaginary project would create a modern panoramic cable car climbing towards the summit, allowing visitors to enjoy the scenery without having to drive the narrow mountain roads all the way to the top.
The upper station could include a small panoramic viewing area together with walking trails, while additional construction around the summit would remain deliberately limited to protect the mountain environment.
On a clear day, the cable-car journey itself could become one of Corfu’s signature visitor experiences.
