6Peroulades – Venetian Houses Near Corfu’s Famous Cliffs
Best for: old mansions, faded façades, traditional houses and sunset photography.
Most visitors know Peroulades because of Loggas Beach, but the village itself deserves more attention.
Arrive before sunset and walk through the old settlement, where you can find traditional houses, tiled roofs, stone details and older buildings showing Venetian influences.
Where does the name Peroulades come from?
There are different local theories. Some connect the name with Venetian nobles, others with the surname Peroulis. There is no single proven explanation.

Population: approximately 624 residents.
Location: northwest Corfu.
From Corfu Town: approximately 38 km.
Best for: traditional buildings combined with spectacular coastal scenery.
