4A Different Beach for Every Mood
Corfu does not have only one type of coastline.
The island offers long sandy beaches, small pebble coves, dramatic cliffs, organised family beaches and quiet bays that can be reached by boat or on foot.
Visitors can choose the wide beaches and dunes of the south-west, the dramatic scenery around Paleokastritsa, the small bays of the north-east or the lively resort beaches of the north.
This variety means that returning visitors do not need to repeat exactly the same holiday every year.
One day may be spent on an organised beach with restaurants and sunbeds. The next may involve a small cove, a picnic and a few hours of swimming in clear water.
Many tourists eventually find one beach that becomes their favourite, but they continue exploring new ones each time they return.
